3. From here, Instagram will show the initial design of your QR code.

In the top center, there are customization options. Just click the button to change the style. Here are the possible styles as of writing:

a. Colour – Click the background to change colors. It will affect both the background and the QR code itself. Keep clicking until you find the color of your choice. Don’t forget to update Instagram App to get more color availability.
b. Emoji – Choose which emoji that best suits your account. The emoji will appear all over the background and a corresponding color will be applied to the QR code itself.
c. Selfie – The ultimate customization of your QR code is to have your face all over the background. Just take one selfie and you can choose among different filters by clicking on the background.

4. After you’ve decided how you want your Instagram QR code to look, you can click on the share icon on the top left corner.

You may send directly to people or save in your camera roll for future use especially in promotional/marketing materials.

How To Get Instagram QR Code On Desktop

1. Go to the official Instagram website and head on to your profile page. Next to the Edit Profile button is the settings icon. Click on that and choose the QR code among the options.

2. Upon clicking, Instagram will generate your QR code with options for colors. Unfortunately, the emoji and selfie styles are not available when you get Instagram QR code from the desktop. However, there are more color options than in the mobile app.

3. Once done, you may click the Download button. You will get you Instagram QR code in PNG format which you can use to send people directly or paste in marketing materials.

Third-party QR Code Generator
